St Nicolas is a member of Horsham Churches Together (HCT), which consists of 32 member churches from Horsham and the surrounding district. It seeks to unite these churches in worship, prayer and good works which bless and benefit the local community.
HCT coordinates joint activities in the town, including a Good Friday Service and a Christmas Celebration and Carol Service all in the open air.
It also employs a Coordinator on a part time basis to coordinate joint church initiatives and to act on its behalf in liaising with the District and County Councils and other statutory bodies. It brings the churches together to demonstrate Gods love by serving the local community through a number of HCT initiatives such as the Youth Support Team, E:liv8, Horsham Matters, a debt advice service and addressing homelessness. It also works in partnership with a number of charities to support those facing issues including drug and alcohol struggles, unplanned pregnancy and pregnancy loss due to abortion or miscarriage.
More information can be found on the HCT website.
